Ouvidos no Vondel is celebrating another year, and we want to celebrate with you! 🌿✨

Belonging is also health: discrimination, identity, and well-being among expatriates

We invite you to join us for a gathering to experience and discuss belonging, discrimination, and possible paths toward emotional and collective empowerment.

It will be a moment of welcome, connection, reflection, and appreciation for active and compassionate listening within the Brazilian community living in the Netherlands — our greatest mission throughout these 7 years of journey.

09:30 – Theater doors open 🎭

10:00 – Welcome and start of activities

with Cláudia Magaldi (physician, smoking cessation coach, and health consultant), Danielle Barbosa (psychologist), Edna Diogo (childcare provider), and Sabrina Caldini (yoga instructor): Ouvidos no Vondel volunteers

10:15 – 11:00 – Workshop: “Between Cultures: Strategies for Coping with Discrimination and Maintaining Well-Being”

with Susana Filgueiras: Founder of Sociale Lens, psychologist, and public policy consultant at Discriminatie.nl Regio Amsterdam.

11:15 – 12:15 – Dialogues and Silences on Stage

with Cláudia Magaldi, Danielle Barbosa, Edna Diogo, Sabrina Caldini, Susana Filgueiras, and Gabrielle Figueiredo (psychologist at Florescer Cuida de Você)
